I've seen some recruitment agency owners share predictions that the market is starting to go up soon.

I don't believe it.

I wish it would, though.

I guess it will continue to go down for at least 12 more months.

Here are the things I am focusing on to make sure we will still be growing in this market situation:

✅ Focus on current customers: Make sure that they are staying super happy. Many of our customers have been cutting costs on things, but so far, we have provided enough value to ensure they don't want to cut us.

✅ Focus on companies that are currently growing. Honestly, it's extremely hard to sell some talent acquisition to companies that aren't hiring at the moment. Find the ones that are and use all your time talking with those companies.

✅ Building brand --> I want to make sure that we are top-of-the-mind when someone is hiring. We are still getting weekly inbound leads from companies that are hiring or planning to hire soon.

✅ Win the deals that come to the pipeline. We have always had a great win rate against our competitors, but in this market situation, winning the cases is even more important. A good combination for this is always preparing extremely well for customer calls and providing more value for them than our competitors.

✅ Everyone does sales and marketing = these need to be your focus in this market situation. All the extra time should go here.
